Payson Gets a Temple!

I just heard some great news. My little hometown of Payson, Utah is getting an L.D.S temple. My mom has been saying for years that Payson would one day have a temple on P hill. She was right on Payson getting a temple just a little off on the location. Either way I am excited for it. you can see the site and get more info here.

I've been Creatin'

This is the very first quilt that I made...

I started it at the age of 1o and I finished it at the age of 18.By the time I was done I hated it. It was too little girl for me.

This is the quilt that i just finished....
Here a couple of close ups of the squares....

This quilt only took me a year, but in all fairness to me it was only a couple of months of me working on it when I had time on Saturdays. I finished sometime in February/march-ish but didn't get around to binding it til my Christmas break last month. I love how it turned out. My mom taught me how to do it, trust me I wouldn't dare take this on alone. Thanks for all your help Mom! I will be starting another quilt soon. I got the fabric for it for Christmas and I love the colors on it.

A Bryce Canyon New Years

For New Years Eve, me, Clint and Bonnie went on a little road trip! Yay, my Favorite. We got hooked up and got rooms at Rubies Inn for a really good price (Thanks T.J. and Sheila)! Rubies Inn has a big party every new years eve and we decided to join them this year. However none of us are really big dancers so we danced a little bit and then we talked and watched other people dance a lot which was VERY entertaining.

Picture of the three of us entertaining ourselves with my camera. Aren't we all just so cute?

Clint refused to take a good picture here, I am putting this one in instead of the one of him eating Bonnie's head or the one of him smelling my hair. at least in this one he looks really happy :)

We went into Bryce Canyon, Where there was a lot of deep snow, which made the red rocks so pretty.

We made snow angels, not very smart because ultimately this turned into us throwing snow at each other and our backsides we wet the rest of the time in the park and the ride back to the inn. BRRRR SO COLD!!

And we went swimming (No pictures of that, sorry), and hung out in the room, goofed off and played games.

It was a great new years. We had a lot of fun and I am already looking forward to my next road trip, whenever and wherever that may be. I hope that each of you had a great new year as well and i wish you the best in the year to come. Love you all!
